Thanks to everybody for a great Halloween then Christmas season. Next is we start planting in earnest for spring right after the new year.
We will be closed until Jan. 3, then our hours will be 10:00ish-5:00ish M-F, and 10:00ish to 3:00ish on Saturday.
We currently have a number of nice houseplants and will be getting new varieties every few weeks. Don't forget a great deal on apples.
The last frost date in our area varies between April 1 and about May 5. Starting about the last week of February, plants that will survive a hard frost include: Strawberries, petunias, snapdragon, alyssum, and grasses. Perennials grown outside (not in a greenhouse) are also okay as are most shrubs and trees. Bring in your old hanging baskets. Plant them yourself, or we can.
The best in the apples in the Tri-Cities: Cosmic Crisp, Opal, Honeycrisp, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, and Fuji Apples, depending on availability and stock. All apples are $0.69/lb or $0.39/lb for over 50 lbs.
